Local classic/hard rock quartet Havadder will play a special St. Patrick's Day concert on Tuesday at The Rednecks Saloon! Their first announced concert in over a month, Havadder are sure to provide some solid heavier covers for patrons at the former Nicolet Tavern for this rare mid-week performance, but as the Facebook event page says, if you're going to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, do it on that day! No word on if green beer will be on sale, or if we'll see any leprechauns. You can have at 'er with Havadder on Tuesday night at 10:00 PM, there's no announced cover charge, and you must be 19 to attend. For more details, visit the above links! It's great to see Havadder back to rock The Rednecks Saloon on Tuesday, especially given the seasonal timing, so stay tuned for potential updates as they roll in, and if you have plans on St. Patrick's Day, here's an option!
Also in new confirmations, local Celtic/punk quartet Dustin Jones & The Rising Tide and alternative/grunge trio The Pixo Control will be among the supporting acts when Rising Tide members Sheldon & Marshall Jaaskelainen's roots duo The Boot Hill Crooners headline their CD release party at LopLops Lounge next Friday, March 20th! Though announced for the past month+ via Tidal Records pages, it's only making the site now due to the new confirmation of punk & alternative openers on the Facebook event page. It's great to see Sheldon & Marshall finally release their long awaited album, and fans of the Crooners should be excited for this event, so be sure to check out their pages for more info on it! The openers (all from Tidal Records) will include the aforementioned Rising Tide (fresh off of their upcoming short Ontario tour run, best of luck to them on the road!), roots band Frank Deresti & The Lake Effect, and folk solo artist Shannon Moan.
As for The Pixo Control, this will be their first non-Superior Heights gig since their VM Radio Battle guest set, but it will be an acoustic set like at Low 'N Slow. Nice change of pace again, so be there early next Friday! Also, remember that Dustin & The Tide will have a busy weekend, as they'll also be headlining at Searchmont next Saturday. The CD release show will have a $10 cover, a 19+ age limit, and a likely 9:00 PM start time. For more details, visit the above links! Sounds like this will be a great concert for Tidal Records fans, with folk, roots, punk, and alternative rock all coming together in one quality package, so keep it in mind for next weekend!

This weekend's shows have 21+ age limits, no announced cover charges, and 9:00 PM start times. For more details, visit the above links, and in lieu of a live video of theirs (though photos from their first shows are now up on their Facebook page), here's Ten Kings' promo video!
That's all for today, but stay tuned for our full recap of last night's VM Radio Battle of the Bands semifinal NEXT! Thanks everyone!
