Local Concert Previews, and More News!!!

Hello, everyone! Trust me, this post isn't as long and involved as last night's, but there's a bunch of stuff to cover, so let's get right to it with the local concert previews for this weekend! (And of course, if you want the Skid Row/FireHouse preview, check immediately below this post!)

Tomorrow night and Saturday night, Sault Michigan's own Nixxon Dixxon are back at The Rapids Lounge at Kewadin Casino! Both of these shows will take place at around 10:00 PM! Now, you know from everything I've said over the past few months that Nixxon Dixxon are a great band, and if you still don't know, check out some of their covers on their official MySpace page! And if you miss them this weekend, never fear, they will be at The Satisfied Frog for a pair of shows near the end of the month!

Now, here's some more stories! First off, and I apologize for being so late to mention this, but SooToday posted an event page for Wednesday's Carnifex concert on their Entertainment section on Sunday! The title is "Grand Theatre is about to get really, really loud", and I don't doubt that one bit! If you like death metal, you guys should head to this show! Besides Carnifex, the other bands scheduled are Montreal's own Blind Witness and The Last Felony, as well as........Upheaval Of An Exorcist, of course! Tickets are still $15 in advance, and $20 at the door, everything starts at 7:00, and yes, it's ALL AGES!

Meanwhile, in more local news, Sault Ontario hard rockers Stillbroke have resurfaced with a pair of new internet pages! They've started a new Facebook group, and a page through New Era Design and Developments for their future advertising! Both are full with new photos and info, and if the Facebook group is any indication, we might just have a local concert to report on very soon! So go check out these pages out! Also, I've updated the Band Links to replace their MySpace with the Facebook page as their main site!

That's all for today, stay tuned for more news as it comes in! Thanks, everyone!
