LOCAL CONCERT ALERT (Late & Loud), Napalm Death Concert Videos, And Caveman Morrison News!!

Here's another news post for you guys today, including more videos from the Napalm Death concert, some interesting lineup news from a local band, and leading things off, a LOCAL CONCERT ALERT, so here's what you need to know! (Also, our new poll is up, but cause of this post, I'm postponing the results/intro post for our polls until tomorrow. Get voting!)

Sault Ontario metal quartet Late & Loud have announced their next live concert set, which will take place on October 26th at The Speak Easy at Algoma University! Over a month after their last mid-week set at Algoma's campus bar, they'll be back a week from tomorrow, as cited on their official Facebook page, so keep this show in mind! Full details on it are not out yet, so I can't say for certain if this show will have a themed pub night to go along with it, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a link to Halloween. As we don't know fuller details yet, I'll assume they'll be on at around 10:00 PM next Wednesday, bring cash in case there's a cover, and though I believe it will be a 19+ event, underage Algoma students may be able to attend, though I can't verify that. Check the above links for more details! Late & Loud have proven to be a talented and entertaining band since their inception last year, and you know their headlining shows are always gonna deliver, so keep their show at The Speak Easy in mind next week! Keep an eye out for updates on this and other Late & Loud shows as they come in!

Next up, here's more videos from Saturday's Napalm Death concert at Feedback Bar & Nightclub, and first, here's one actually from Napalm Death's set! Attendee Neno Jovanovic also filmed some of the British grindcore legends' set, and posted the video onto his YouTube channel yesterday. The video features Napalm Death playing their 1990 song "Suffer The Children" and 2005's "Silence Is Deafening" near the end of their set, and how do they sound? Very brutal, and that's good! Barney Greenway's singing is nice and aggressive, and even now, still more legible than some other death growlers, and the rest of the band sound blistering as you'd expect! Awesome drumming from Danny Herrera too! This makes me even more jealous that I had to miss this show over the weekend, but hey, family's important. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see them somewhere in the future! Here's Napalm Death rocking Feedback this past Saturday!

Neno also posted this video of Toronto death metal band Hallows Die from the show, where this talented quartet played their song "Fall From Heaven" and a new track from their upcoming album, so give it a look below as well! If you like your death metal a bit darker and more progressive, Hallows Die fit the bill well, and they sounded on form here! Kudos to Neno for getting all of these videos, hopefully he has some of Shit Liver & Wake too! Check out Hallows Die from Saturday night below, and stay tuned for more Napalm Death fallout as it comes in!

Finally for today, local metal cover band Caveman Morrison have announced the additions of Redundant bassist James White & drummer Rick White to their current lineup, replacing Jacques Marceau & Willie Bellerose. The White brothers were quietly added to the band's lineup recently on their Facebook group, though no explanation was announced as to why the changes occurred. That said, Rick White (also of Frightlight fame) returns to Caveman Morrison about 18 months after leaving Caveman Morrison's bass position early last year, though now on drums in lieu of his brother. The White brothers have proven to have good chemistry and a solid hard rock background, so they'll be assets to Caveman Morrison's new lineup! For the record, Redundant are luckily still together. Best of luck to Jacques and Willie in their next musical moves too, they both have talent and deserve to get in another band! As for when you can see the new Caveman Morrison lineup, I can't say for certain yet, but the band hasn't played live in over three months due to frontman Tym Morrison's busy solo schedule and (likely) the recent lineup switches, but with the White brothers in tow, it's only a matter of time before Caveman Morrison are back! Stay tuned for updates!

That's all for today, but stay tuned tomorrow for last month's poll results and all you should know about our current poll, so get voting, as it details with your opinions on a recent issue in the scene! Thanks everyone!
